Pasha Balloons: Expanding to the World with Domestic Production

Since 2019, we have been manufacturing hot air balloons with domestic resources at our facility in Ortahisar, a district of Ürgüp. From the day we were founded, we have pursued a vision of reducing dependence on imports, becoming the preferred choice for companies operating in the ballooning sector. Today, with our high-quality standards and extensive product range, we have secured a strong position not only in Turkey but also in the global market.

Exporting to 11 Countries in 2024

In 2024, we increased our exports by 350%, selling hot air balloons to 11 different countries. To date, our company has produced 168 envelopes, 149 baskets, and 507 burners (ignition systems). We have exported 39 envelopes, 38 baskets, and 121 burners to Egypt, Azerbaijan, Ghana, Rwanda, Qatar, South Korea, Tanzania, Oman, Mexico, Jordan, and Japan.

One-Third of the Balloons Used in Turkey Are Locally Manufactured

There are a total of 12 balloon manufacturers worldwide, and Turkey has rapidly risen in this industry, becoming the fourth-largest producer globally in terms of annual production capacity. Before 2019, all hot air balloons in Turkey were imported. However, today, one-third of the active balloons used in flight locations such as Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Soğanlı are locally produced by us. Our goal is to become the number one manufacturer worldwide!

Our 2025 Goal: Expanding to Europe, America, and Africa

We continue to work tirelessly to expand our production capacity and export network. So far, we have successfully trained and certified 58 team members, including 28 tailors, to ensure high-quality manufacturing. In 2025, we aim to expand our exports to Europe, America, and Africa, positioning Pasha Balloons among the world’s largest balloon manufacturers.

We take great pride in producing balloons locally in Cappadocia, the world’s busiest hot air ballooning region. With a focus on sustainable growth and technological development, we are determined to establish Turkey as a global leader in hot air ballooning.
